Stillness gallery
This gallery was crafted over many years. Each image, and accompanying reading, was made slowly through exploration, presence, and deep listening. Thank you for being here, and for your attention to these little squares of light.

One thousand miles past reason
One inch beyond fear
Parched flesh and arid mind
I collapse
Only when wholly empty
Can one be truly refilled

Cleave oneself from humanity
Claw, ascend, and tear
Into the thin and whispering air
Dwell in that vantaged outpost
A sentinel, an immovable ghost

No speed without stillness.
No glory in potential.
Stop. Cool. Refuel.
Watch the light
Then tear into the wind

The leading edge of perception is
Neither comfortable nor elegant.
One eye closed to the dust and wind,
We track, hunt, and discover
Unveiling Nature’s wonders

Fear is the only gate.
Risk the shore, the pier
In just one leap
We can wobble, then fly,
And in this moment, touch the sky.

Closer to the core
Each spoke of life drips with vitality
The marrow, strong and still
Endures all

Before the red leaf falls
Shine succumbs
Revealing breathtaking decay
And the truth of unity

In your stillness
A warmth arises
A glow that beckons
The fragments of self
Still caught in the storm

The daily offering of light
A smile, a hand, a story, or
Benediction
Ensures our village never falls
Into darkness
