Note from Jak: I walked with members of the San people, descendants of Southern Africa’s earliest known inhabitants, as the sun went down. Their clothing is made from the land and animals around them. As they built a fire from zebra dung, I contemplated how far modern life has pulled us from the insights that come with living so closely to the earth.

Technique: Captured on medium format film with vintage Rolleiflex TLR camera.

Chromira prints are the finest output available; Fuji Crystal Archive Paper processed in RA-4 chemicals. This is true photographic paper.

The accompanying reading is written by hand in ink, on archival 5×7″ paper, which may be framed to accompany the work, or saved with the COA.

Only 15 prints per size. As the edition progresses, the price will increase. Early collectors enter at a lower price; later works reflect the rarity of the remaining pieces.
